Power Enterprise Headgaskets and AAM 3" TwinTurbo Exhaust
Well I've been pretty slow with getting parts lately. I'm down to the last few parts for my build. All I'm missing now is the EMS, which I plan on picking up very soon.
I had alot of problems trying to figure out what HG I should be using. The shop measured the new block and said i needed a .04 over stock. I spoke with Shariff@Forged and he told me just to get a .7 Thickness Headgasket. He also mentioned the Power Enterprise Gaskets were doing very well, as he beat on a recently built engine at a track event the previous weekend. So after a quick phone call, I was pretty set on the Head gaskets which were recommended by Forged (they know better than I do!)
I got the package in less than 2 days. Sandy did a good job shipping FAST! They instructions were not even for installing the HG's.. but act as safety guidelines for working on a car in general. They were quite entertaining. (Alot better than the Japanese instructions you get from ARC hhahaha.. sorry Chie don't need you on this one!)

I also mysteriously got a 3" AAM Exhaust in the mail yesterday. I remember talking to someone about it when I picked up some other parts. Well, it came in the mail. FedEx labeled it as 78 lb's!! I'm so glad I'm not putting this on my G when it's done.
I've had the 3" APS Twin turbo exhaust and it had alot of LOUD reviews, so I ended up selling it for a 2.5" Twin Turbo APS Exhaust. Gabe also picked one up and it seems to be quiet just like my Fujitsubo. EXACTLY what I want out of a daily driver. I don't mind losing that .5" on both sides as long as I don't get pulled over or need to wear earplugs when I drive.
The 3" AAM just looked LOUD. I've never heard one in person, but I can definitely tell from the cans and the exhaust piping.. it's one LOUD mofo. I'm going to try to sell it locally, and if that doesn't work out.. I'll probably keep it stored for options later down the road. But for now, this exhaust is just too loud for me! Plus I don't want to bother with clearance issues of running 2 3" pipes under my car!
